nmea2000 systems on the boats we are sailing on to get the information into our
navigation software, we would like to do the same on the SunFast 30OD system (we
can provide our nmea 2000 tee to get our navlink2 onto the system). Is this
possible?
A: No problem

tablets per boat. The configuration of the secondary tablet will have to be done by
the skippers.
Q: We consider that a B&G chart plotter that will be connected directly to the boat
NMEA 2k network by cable is not just a computer (as it can cooperate with the
Instrument System and give control orders, modify and adjust parameters in a
more convenient way, etc) but you have answered (Request for information page) it
is permitted to be brought. Moreover you have answered that a customized
companionway hatch can be brought, in order the plotter to be fixed on it. Please
clarify. If the answer is yes, for the extra hatch, can the exact companionway
hatch drawing with dimensions be provided?
A: As mentioned, crews can bring the mapping equipment of their choice,
communicating in NMEA2K B&G.
However, as stated in the sailing instructions, the only way to fix it is with a self-
adhesive means that does not leave marks on the boats. This also means that no
mechanical means of fixing are allowed.
Therefore, we do not consider it necessary to provide you with dimensions and a
plan of this area.
